2017–18
EXHIBITION
Eleven sculptures were selected for inclusion in the 2017-18 Juried Exhibition. Artists from seven states - Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, North Carolina and Texas created the sculptures. They have extensive resumes and together their work is included in numerous public, corporate, private and museum collections both here in the states as well as abroad.
Colors of My Mind, a sculpture by the late George Rodrigue, was also included in the Exhibition. It was provided by special arrangement with the George Rodrigue Foundation and now enjoys a permanent home here, thanks to the generosity of his widow, Wendy Rodrigue.
SELF-GUIDED TOURS
Aprinted Catalogue of the Exhibition with a location map guided visitors to each of the sculptures and provided information on the Exhibition, our town, and each of the sculptures. The ‘Otocast’ smartphone app provided an audio tour. Visitors downloaded the free app and were able to hear most of the artists themselves talk about their sculpture.
